It’s Time for Our Annual Summer Potluck Picnic!

The Oceana County Democrats are hosting their Annual August Community Potluck Picnic on August 4, 2026. The Picnic will be held at Johnson Square Park, 5645-5671 W. Fox Rd. Mears, MI 49436.

Bring your favorite dish to share (please no packaged, store-bought lettuce ingredients due to the recent recalls). Lemonade and iced tea will be provided, along with paper plates, cups, and utensils. The Potluck Picnic will begin at 6:00 pm.

Following dinner, Dave Leonard, the Colfax Township Supervisor will speak to us. He is a retired, longtime police officer, and the author of the book, Real Cop, A Memoir of a Career Street Officer. Mr. Leonard will speak on the topic of "Winning Back Law Enforcement Support in Today's Political Environment,” a subject critical to Democrats for winning the 2026 Midterm Elections.

A brief monthly business meeting will follow the featured speaker.
